      Cyber Hygiene Workshop for Ohio's Manufacturing Companies

      TechSolve’s Cyber Hygiene Workshop for Ohio’s Manufacturing Companies is a new half-day program that provides your organization’s: 1) Owners/Executives 2) IT Resources; and 3) HR/Compliance and Policy Managers with frameworks and industry best practices for understanding, analyzing and managing cybersecurity-related risk. The content is customized for manufacturers and will include interactive discussions, tools, actionable ideas and specific break-outs based on your job function/cybersecurity risk mitigation role within your organization to help your organization build and maintain a strong cyber hygiene program. The workshop will draw from a number of U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publications including the NIST Cyber Security Framework; NISTIR 8183 Cybersecurity Framework Manufacturing Profile; NIST MEP Handbook Cybersecurity Handbook (HB-162); and the NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-171: Protecting Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Information Systems and Organizations as well as guidance from the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT), the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and the SANS Institute. He has earned numerous industry certifications including Security+, Network+, Associate of the ISC2, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, PSM 1, PSD 1, and ITIL Foundation V3 and he has a BS in Information Systems from NKU. As a Cyber Security Consultant at Intrust IT Dave works with clients to educate them about cyber security risks and help them defend their assets.   A sought-after speaker, Dave is a regular on-air contributor on WXIX (FOX19) as the station’s tech expert, and he can be heard every Friday morning at 6:30 AM on 55KRC’s “Tech Friday” segment with host Brian Thomas, and more.
